Bird's Nest | Mesmerising Moments

Trees, empty of leaves, give up their secrets more easily.

The clatter on the floor joined by creaking in the boughs, the breeze’s own orchestra sings aloud.

Nestling in the tree, a twig or two or a hundred and three resting carefully in a branch V.

Now winter’s coming on and fledgling birds have gone there’s no reason to stay in the empty nest.

This photograph was taken during this Mesmerising Moment with a mobile phone camera.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the bird’s nest in your back garden this article has some great advice.

I’m always one to notice and take in mesmerizing moments, but I think you’ve now inspired me to get poetic about them. I’m enjoying your moments.

Well, if you do THAT you’ll have to send it in!! We’d love to enjoy your MMs too.

It’s so lovely to note the birds’ nests that have been hidden from us all these months. I like the stark quality of your photo — it captures the onset of winter so well!

Thanks Meredith.
They keep catching my eye. I love how cleverly constructed (or maybe that should be blanaced) they are. It looks like a precarious way to start life.
