Horse and Boy | Mesmerising Moments

by Liam (8), Australia

When I go to grandma’s house, we always get some vegetables from Sue and Alan.

When we get some vegetables we see the cows.

When I go to grandma’s house I once saw a possum, some horses with bushy legs and some normal horses.

Sometimes I see irises in grandma’s pond and frogs which jump from lily pad to lily pad. Sometimes they go right to the middle of the lily pad.

I saw alpacas with grandpa.

When I go there I see Molly and I cuddle her and use her as a couch. She’s a Golden Retriever. As soon as I get to grandma’s house, I go “woof woof” and bark to her and she comes up the big driveway.

Next to grandma’s is a big bush turkey nest and there’s a big bad dog that wakes us up every morning. There’s robins and snakes.

One morning grandma woke up and saw a chocolate kangaroo at her window, a real one. It was coloured like chocolate.

We’d like to thank Liam for sharing his Mesmerising Moments in nature and we wonder what it’s like to be kissed by a horse! Liam’s Mesmerising Moments are the first contribution to kidsMM.

If you’d like to contribute your Mesmerising Moments, get in touch – we’d love to share them.

Playing in nature is food for the soul.

Liam, I saw the “chocolate” kangaroo or probably a wallaby, one Easter Sunday morning! It was like the chocolate rabbits or bilbys in the shops, that was why it was so special!
