Ash Tree - Cherry Tree - Plum Tree | Mesmerising Moments

The cat rises, stretches, leaps off the bed. Thump. Slinks to the study. Meow. Time for tea, for her and me.

I rise, stretch. Castors clatter on wooden floor chasing puss to the door.

As I pass, the bedroom glows. Is a light on? No. I stop by the window.

Breeze jangled ash keys shimmer in the late afternoon sun – a promise of trees to come.

Nothing to see. Just me, the security tree, self important guard of the keys to the mansion. Meow.

Poker tailed cat weaves round ankles. Meow. Time for tea, for her

and me.

This picture was taken during this Mesmerising Moment on a mobile phone camera.

Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) is the fourth commonest tree species in Britain find out more on the Forestry Commission website.

Thanks Dawn. The poker tailed cat liked it too – it meant she was about to get food!
