Kittens in Birch Tree | Mesmerising Moments

Quick! Quick! The kittens have escaped! Dappled flashes through the door. They’re out! They’ve gone!

The search is on with food bowl bangs and here kitty-kitty’s.

Their pink noses must be twitching in the evening air. Ears pricked by mouse steps and birds settling in roosts. Not that they’ve ever seen either. Here kitty-kitty.

They’re too small to see in the dark on the ground. Their first time outside, where would they hide? What is it like to run over grass, damp earth under paw, claw-stretch on tree bark for the very first time?

The tree! Above me, two demon eyed kittens test muscles and bravery. Higher and higher and braver than I.

This picture was taken during this Mesmerising Moment in October 2007.
