Dandelion Seeds Heads and Seeds | Mesmerising Moments

I am walking through the grass unaware as to what’s there, underfoot. The sun is warm on my back, the breeze barely kissing my skin.

Suddenly, the air is full of possibility. Dancing lights of pregnant dreams shimmer in the sun, delicate dandelion seeds.

Time stands still. Parachuting seeds slow-motion churning in the ocean of air.

I spy another seed head. A hollow snap and the stem’s milky sap bleeds onto my fingertips. I blow.

One o’clock, two o’clock, three o’clock. In the maelstrom of dancing wishes I see the spark, the thought, the hope, of life manifesting.
