Snowy Path | Mesmerising Moments

Amid chaotic news reports of grounded planes and stationery trains Iā€™m breathless in the frigid air.

Snow, sublime in the lunar glow covers the toes and heels of boots. In the dark, to the park I walk as it falls, deepening silence interrupted only by the pitter-patter of flakes on hood.

White-heavy branches on the luminous tree cast streetlight shadows. On the path, snow-golden Merkaba star leads the way up the hill to the bridge.

Standing here in the peace of drifting flakes and golden light all is right with the world.

This picture was taken during this Mesmerising Moment on a mobile phone camera. It is part of a series of pictures taken during a walk at night time through the snow. They can be viewed here.

Lovely post, and it really resonated with me. Last night I stood outside in the stillness of a late solstice full moon. The snow up to my knees and really just had a ‘Mesmerising Moment’.
